2022 is here.
Another arbiratry celebration marking the completion of a revolution of a rock sphere around a hot ball of fusion
Here’s a challenge for today. Try to think something you know you are right and try to imagine what it would be like to be wrong about it. Envision the possibility and what it might mean.
In general. If you ask people if they are always right, no one will claim being right all the time.
If you ask people if they are always right about important stuff in life, again very few will claim infallibility.
But although most of us concede we are not perfect in our beliefs and understanding of the world, trying to imagine the things we might be wrong about is very hard. Especially important things.
If you are one of the few souls that silently follow this blog, please leave a comment/ footprint. Let me know a thing you concretely believe to be correct, but you were willing to imagine what it would feel to be wrong about.
Take notice though!
Willingness to imagine being wrong about something is not equal to admitting doubt about your beliefs. It is just expressing a willingness to enter a different, radically foreign, headspace and explore what lies there.
This willingess is an important driver for self-development and improvement
Lets see what you ’got…
